Amazing Bathrooms From Around The World
People are always creating amazing things around the world. If you search the internet for some of the most amazing inventions in the world today, you will not believe how long that list is and how unique some of these inventions are. We have amazing inventions in all fields including agriculture, biology, aviation, auto, medicine, IT, etc. The plumbing industry also enjoys its fair share of amazing inventions. We now have very many innovative and even tech-oriented plumbing products. You can now install touchless hands-free faucets, smart water meters, leak monitoring devices, and many other innovative plumbing devices to enhance the functionality of your plumbing system. Plumbers now use waterproof remote controlled video cameras to inspect underground drainage and sewer lines.
Underground sewer inspections are now part of the tech-oriented Arlington drain cleaning
and sewer repair and replacement
services. Another major field of innovation in the plumbing industry is the bathroom. The bathroom is one of the most functional rooms in the house. And as you can expect, this popular room has enjoyed many innovations over the years. Today we are going to look at some of the most amazing and fascinating bathrooms from around the world.
The All-Gold Bathroom
Let us start with the most expensive bathroom in the world. The Hang Fung Gold Technology Group built a whole bathroom out of pure gold in 2001. The washroom is appropriately dubbed “The Hall of Gold” and it’s valued at a whopping $5 million. It’s maintained as a demonstration washroom for the public to view and visit. The bathroom features a solid gold toilet. Its value is said to have increased since it was built because gold prices have risen significantly over the years. Technically, this is not the most expensive bathroom in existence because it’s surpassed by the International Space Station (ISS) toilet. But the ISS toilet is up in space so we can comfortably conclude that The Hall of Gold has the most expensive toilet on earth.
The Largest Restroom In The World
China is home to the largest restroom in the world. This gargantuan restroom is located in Yangrenjie or Foreigner’s Street. It features 1,000 toilets, on four stories covering over 32,200 square feet. The restroom features many uniquely designed toilets and urinals. Overall, the whole bathroom complex has an Egyptian theme. Other amenities include odd-shaped urinals, calm music, and TVs. China aims to attract more customers with this colossal restroom.
A Bombproof Bathroom
The bulletproof bathroom is another amazing bathroom located in China. It was built in Zhong Guan Village Plaza and its one of the many antiterrorism products developed by China after 9/11. The 15-ton bathroom can even withstand TNT explosives detonated from within. This bulletproof restroom is valued at $100,000.
The Almost Transparent Bathroom
Would you like to use a seemingly transparent or see-through bathroom to do your business? An artistic bathroom made of mirrors was constructed in Tate, Britain, in 2003. The bathroom is called “Don’t Miss a Sec” and it’s made of one-way mirrors. This means that you can see the people outside but they cannot see you. Quite amazing.
Underwater Toilet
There is an underwater toilet in Akashi, Japan. The $270,000 toilet features three walls and it gives the user a chance to see live sea creatures while using the toilet. The walls are made of transparent glass so it’s like you are relieving yourself in the sea.
